Ford's Four Second Quarter Triples Push Huntingdon Past Agnes Scott
Looking to build off of their senior day win against the Scots of Covenant College, Huntingdon women's basketball played host to Agnes Scott College. The Scotties flew out of the gates, going ahead by as much as eleven in 11 in the first half, but the Hawks, led by Makayla Ford and her four three pointers in the second quarter, put together a comeback to regain the lead by halftime and take the conference victory, 75-63.
Hawks Shut Down Covenant On Senior Day
Entering tonight's matchup following a tough loss on the road at Belhaven, Huntingdon women's basketball claimed a key CCS victory over the Scots of Covenant College for Senior Day, 66-47.
Davis Eclipses 1,000 Career Points, Hawks Fall At Belhaven
Coming off a resounding win at Wesleyan, Huntingdon women's basketball stepped into Rugg Arena this evening for a CCS showdown with Belhaven University. The Hawks started off strong, entering halftime with a 7 point victory, but Belhaven stormed back in the fourth quarter, outscoring Huntingdon 22-11 to take the victory, 66-59. Putting up 9 points tonight, Kinstin Davis has surpassed 1,000 career points with three games remaining in the regular season of her senior year. Davis is the first women's basketball athlete to score 1,000 points in her career since Juliette Harp did in the 2017-2018 season.
