#5 Huntingdon Falls To #2 Belhaven In First Round Of CCS Tournament
Entering the Collegiate Conference of the South tournament as the #5 seed, Huntingdon Baseball traveled to Maryville College as they opened things up with a battle against the #2 seed, Belhaven. The Hawks took the lead early in the game, but the Blazers caught fire in response, handing Huntingdon a 16-1 loss.
Cadenhead and Kelley Bring Home All-CCS Honors
Maryville’s Colin Dunworth was recognized as the 2025 Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Player of the Year, while Piedmont’s left-handed pitcher Zeke Swartz secured the Pitcher of the Year title. Joining a fellow Lion, Ben Connelly was named the CCS Rookie Player of the Year, while LaGrange’s Josiah Chiesa earned the CCS Rookie Pitcher of the Year award. Maryville's head coach Clint Helton received the prestigious CCS Coach of the Year accolade for his second consecutive season, a decision made through a vote by the conference's head coaches.

Huntingdon’s Allie Roberts earns the Pitcher of the Year honor and teammate Addison Gaines secures the Rookie Pitcher of the Year title, as voted by the conference’s head coaches. LaGrange’s Jaselyn Couch produces a season worthy of the Rookie Player of the Year distinction, while Huntingdon’s head coach Casey Chrietzberg takes home the Coach of the Year accolade for the season consecutive season, as revealed by the league office.
