USA South releases conference cross country polls

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.  – The USA South Athletic Conference released its men's and women's cross country polls on Wednesday.

The Huntingdon men are fourth in the West Division and the Huntingdon women are sixth. This is the fourth year of competition for Huntingdon since restarting the program. Covenant is first in both the men's and women's West Divisional polls.

In the men's poll, Covenant received four first-place votes and 34 points and second-place Piedmont picked up two  first-place vote and 30 points. Defending conference champion Berea is third with one first-place vote and 23 points and Huntingdon is fourth with 19 points.

Methodist leads the men's East Division poll with five first-place votes and 25 points and North Carolina Wesleyan is second with one first-place vote and 19 points.

In the women's poll, Covenant received six first-place votes and 36 point in the West Division and Piedmont was second with one first-place vote and 31 points. Huntingdon finished with 13 points.

Meredith leads the women's East Division poll with four first-place votes and 33 points and Methodist is second with two first-place votes and 28 points.
