With the recent departure of Coach Ashley Crane, Huntingdon Athletics has announced that Katelyn Gilmore, Huntingdon class of 2019, will head up the Women's Golf program.
A member of the Huntingdon Women's Golf team from 2015-2019, Gilmore entered her senior season with the second best scoring average in program history (80.52), which she combined with an impressive 71 birdies and 2 eagles.
After four years of competing for the Hawks as a player and graduating from Huntingdon in 2019 with a degree in Business Administration, Gilmore entered a series of professional mini-tours, including the Cactus Tour and the Women's All Pro Tour, scoring a career low of 66 on the Cactus Tour in Apache Junction, Arizona.
In addition to her expansive experience within the competitive golf ranks, Gilmore has spent the last two years as an Assistant Golf Professional at Robert Trent Jones located in Prattville, Alabama. She is currently working towards PGA of America Membership.
