Beach volleyball opens season with loss at NAIA University of Mobile

MOBILE, Ala.  – The Huntingdon beach volleyball team opened the season with a 3-2 loss to the University of Mobile on Saturday.

The Hawks earned wins against the NAIA Rams with their No. 1 and No. 5 teams. The No. 1 team of Amy Tyma and Audrey Horsley won 21-13, 19-21, 15-6 and the No. 5 team of Bea Lindquist and Caroline Foote won 21-12, 23-21. The No. 3 team of Cadie Shirley and Jessica Brunk lost in three sets.

Coming Up: The Hawks host the Huntingdon Tournament on Feb. 12-14.
