NCBWA Names JB Landrum DIII National Rookie of the Week

MONTGOMERY,Ala.- In honor of his shutout victory against Millsaps, Huntingdon Freshman Pitcher JB Landrum has been named the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association's Rookie of the Week for DIII.

Landrum is the first Hawk to earn this national recognition as a rookie. Against Millsaps, he kept the Majors off the board all night, only allowing 4 hits and striking out 9 batters.

JB and the Hawks take on William Peace University at home in a double-header on March 9th. Games are scheduled for 2:30 and 4:30 PM CT.
