Cade Morgan Named ABCA/Rawlings Third Team All-Region

MONTGOMERY, Ala.- The 2025 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-Region teams and Regional Players of the Year have been announced in all 10 regions. The teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America & Coach of the Year Committee.

Representing Huntingdon as the Hawks lone all-region selection from the 2025 season is senior shortstop Cade Morgan of Hueytown, Alabama. Morgan was a force at the plate all season, boasting a .325 batting average on the season with 10 doubles, 2 triples, and a home run to add. Additionally, he drove in 27 runs while scoring 40 of his own as he led Huntingdon on their cinderella run to the conference championship and an appearance at the NCAA regional level. 

The Chair of the ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America & Coach of the Year Committee is Paul Hesse of the University of Mount Union. Also on the committee are Brian Casey (U.S. Coast Guard Academy), Pete Egbert (Misericordia University), Dan Gomez (Western New England University), Ray Hedrick (Randolph-Macon College), Luke Johnson (North Park University), Scott Laverty (Chapman University), Yogi Lutz (Alvernia University), Nick Pontari (Russell Sage College), and Kevin Tomasiewicz (University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh).
