11 Hawks Named To ECAC All-Academic Team

MONTGOMERY, Ala.- ECAC Esports has released their Fall 2024 season All-Academic Team honorees.

To be eligible, each honoree must carry a grade point average of 3.2 or higher for the semester. A total of 224 student-athletes from 20 different colleges and universities are being recognized for their success in the classroom.

Husson University finished strong with 33 students, and SUNY Fredonia added 25 more to the list. Alice Lloyd College followed with 22 students, Post University with 19, and St. Mary's University with 16. Bushnell University, Columbia College, and Elmira College each added 13 students, respectively. John Jay College of Criminal Justice was right on their tail with 12 students, Huntingdon College with 11 and St. Andrews University brought 11 more. Waynesburg University added 9 students, and Paul Smith's College and the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown each added 8 more. The University of North Carolina at Charlotte followed with 4 students, and Washington College with 3. Franklin College, Oklahoma City Community College, SUNY New Paltz, and Utica University each added 1 student, respectively.

"I'm ecstatic to see the Eastern College Athletic Conference recognize our Esports student-athletes' efforts in the classroom," shared Director of Esports Ryan Doyle."These students excelled and shattered expectations for the Fall semester and I'm eager to see how they perform in the oncoming semester."

Mateusz Hoskin - Call of Duty
Jackson Steiert - Call of Duty
Gabriel Hughes - Tekken 8
