The Hawks took an early lead until 13:55 of the first half but LaGrange gained momentum, eventually taking a 55-45 lead into halftime. The Hawks were unable to make a comeback despite 26 bench points and 32 points in the paint.
Caleb Toney led the team with 17 points. Sam Page had 14 points and tied with Max Gardner for a game-high 8 rebounds. Page and Gardner each also had 2 steals.
The Hawks are back in action at home on Saturday, February 19, when they take on Piedmont for Senior Day. Tipoff is set for 2:00 PM CST.
