
Brown Collects Second Player Of The Week Award
ATLANTA, Ga.- For the second time this season, the Collegiate Conference of the South has recognized Huntingdon sophomore standout BJ Brown as the conference's player of the week.
Brown delivered a standout performance in Huntingdon's exhibition victory over Division II Shorter University last week, scoring a career-high 34 points while tagging on 4 assists. He played 32 minutes and was incredibly efficient, shooting 72% from the field.
Throughout the entirety of the season, Brown has facilitated the Hawks high-octane offensive attack, averaging 14.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5 assists per game while leading Huntingdon to the best start in recent program history. The Hawks are one of just 31 undefeated teams in NCAA Division III, boasting the 7th highest scoring margin in the country at 22.
Brown and the Hawks look to continue their hot start as they face Millsaps College on December 3rd. Tip-off is set for 6:00 PM CT.
