Lambeth presented with Don Scalf Award

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The USA South Athletic Conference presented Huntingdon golfer Addison Lambeth with the Don Scalf Award on Wednesday night.

Flanked by Huntingdon College President J. Cameron West, Athletic Director Mike Turk and Director of Golf Dave Schreyer, Lambeth received the trophy from USA South Commissioner Tom Hart at halftime of the men's basketball game with Birmingham-Southern.

Lambeth was named the conference's male winner of the Don Scalf Award this past June. He is the first Huntingdon student-athlete to receive the USA South's most prestigious award.

To be eligible for the Don Scalf Award, a student-athlete must be either a junior or senior, have participated in a USA South-sponsored sport, earned All-Conference recognition and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. The winners are chosen by a vote of the USA South athletic directors.
