
Baker And Hundley Tie For Second As Huntingdon Finishes As CCS Runner-Up
DALTON, Ga.- With the third round at the Dalton Country Club bringing the 2025 Collegiate Conference of the South Championship Tournament to a close, Huntingdon Men's Golf, for the second consecutive season, has finished as the league's runner-up.
Entering the day nine strokes behind Piedmont University, the Hawks compiled a one-over par score of 289 score for the round as a team to force a tie-breaking two-hole playoff between Huntingdon and the Lions, where Piedmont ultimately prevailed. Stephen Baker and Jack Hundley led Huntingdon throughout the tournament, finishing in a tie for second place overall. Each of the Hawks finished the tournament with an even-par 72, with Jack Burr finishing seventh overall to round out Huntingdon's top-10 placers.
