JACKSON, Miss. – The Huntingdon men's lacrosse team tied the game early in the fourth period, but Millsaps scored with 5:35 to play and held on for an 11-10 win on Saturday.
Anthony Rovetto scored four goals for the Hawks (4-4) and Jakob Works added three goals and an assist. Brandon Sewell finished with two goals, an assist, 16 ground balls and won 21-of-25 faceoffs. Davis Dalton scored one goal and had five ground balls and Matt Bowes had six ground balls.
Goalie Fabien Gutierrez had 11 saves.
Huntingdon hosts the University of Dallas on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
