Huntingdon falls behind in second half against Carthage

MONTGOMERY, Ala.  – The Huntingdon men's lacrosse team lost to Carthage College 17-8 on Tuesday.

Huntingdon fell behind 6-1 in the first quarter before answering in the second quarter and pulling within one goal, 8-7, with 2:53 to play in the first half. But from there, the momentum swung to Carthage.

Carthage pulled away with one goal before halftime and eight straight goals to open the second half.

Seth Howe and Brandon Miller each scored three goals for Huntingdon and Caleb Bohrer and Brayden Puckett each scored one goal. Puckett, Zach Barnhill and Ian Bruggeman each had one assist. Puckett also had three ground balls. Tyler Keiser finished with five caused turnovers and 14 ground balls.

Goalie Stephen Dan had a career-high 20 saves and allowed 17 goals in 60 minutes.
