Huntingdon knocks off LaGrange

LAGRANGE, Ga.  – The Huntingdon men's lacrosse team took an early lead and pulled away in the second quarter of a 12-5 win over LaGrange on Sunday.

Leading 4-3 with seven minutes left in the first half, the Hawks scored four goals in less than six minutes to build an 8-3 lead. The Hawks outscored LaGrange 4-1 in the second half.

Cole Foster scored three goals for Huntingdon, Caden Bacz had two goals, one assist and four ground balls and Brady Moulton scored two goals. Ian Bruggeman and Brayden Puckett each had one goal and one assist. Bruggeman also had a team high six ground balls.

Ryan Campion, Hayden Strickland and Tyler Keiser each scored one goal, Paul Gordon had two assists and Mike Jones had one assist, four caused turnovers and five ground balls. Jacob Gray had four ground balls.  

Goalie Stephen Dan recorded 14 saves and five goals allowed in 60 minutes.
