Two men’s lacrosse players recognized with All-Conference awards

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.  – Two Huntingdon players earned recognition with the release of the USA South Athletic Conference men's lacrosse awards on Thursday.  

Mike Jones received first-team All-Conference honors. Jones and Tyler Keiser were both named first-team West Division. Keiser was also named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.

Jones was recognized as a defender. This season, he started in all 10 games and recorded 26 caused turnovers, 41 ground balls and two assists. He led the conference in caused turnovers and tied for 10th in ground balls.

Keiser, a midfielder, was Huntingdon's second-leading goal scorer with 14 goals. He also had three assists and 28 ground balls.

Pfeiffer's Jared Nelson was named USA South Offensive Player of the Year, Piedmont's Zach Czulada was named USA South Defensive Player of the Year, Averett's Liam Taylor was named Rookie of the Year and Greensboro's Michael Foderaro was recognized as Coach of the Year.
