Hawks Fly Past Centenary

Montgomery, Alabama – The Hawks (2-2) flew past the Gents (0-3) in their matchup tonight 16-3.

Scoring in the first thirty seconds of the game, Gage Kettlewell put the Hawks on top. From that point on, Huntingdon controlled the game. Ryan Campion and Caden Bacz scored back-to-back goals to take the 3-0 lead within five minutes of the first. Kettlewell and Kelcey Marston were up next as they each took turns scoring a goal (5-0). With eight minutes remaining in the first, Kettlewell scored his third goal of the night and Bacz followed with two more goals of his own for his third of the night (8-0). Before heading to the second, Marston added one more for the Hawks for a 9-0 lead. The Hawks Marston, Bacz, and Brady Moulton added three more goals in the second for Huntingdon as they headed to halftime holding the Gents scoreless (12-0).

After two goals in three minutes by the Hawks to start the third, Centenary finally found their way to the score board with two goals. Bacz, Kettlewell, and Marston continued to apply pressure for the Hawks' as Kettlewell and Marston added their fourth goals of the night and Bacz added his fifth to tie his career-high. The Gents added one more goal in the fourth but would be unable to overcome the deficit.
