Kettlewell, Jbara Earn USA South Player Of The Week Honors

MONTGOMERY,Ala.- Huntingdon men's lacrosse athletes Gage Kettlewell and Andrew Jbara have been named the USA South Offensive Player of the week and Rookie of the week respectively for their performance in a 22-1 win over Spalding.

Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week

Gage Kettlewell, Huntingdon- The sophomore midfielder from Washington Township, Ohio scored nine seven goals with three assists, and two ground balls in the Hawks' lone contest of last week, a 22-1 win over Spalding. Also Nominated: Gabe King, Southern Virginia; Will Beyer, Greensboro; Jacob Hasbrouck, Piedmont; William English, William Peace; Mark Chatt, Methodist.

Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week

Andrew Jbara, Huntingdon- The freshman defender from Tucson, Arizona grabbed 11 ground balls and caused four turnovers to go along with scoring one goal and dishing out one assist in the Hawks' lone contest of last week, a 22-1 win over Spalding. Also Nominated: Porter Wells, Southern Virginia; Nick Winter, Piedmont; Jameson Doll, Greensboro; Jamar Bell, William Peace; Nick Garza, Methodist.
