DANVILLE, Va. – The Huntingdon men's soccer team took Averett University to overtime on Sunday before losing 2-1.
After a scoreless first half, Averett took a 1-0 lead in the first two minutes of the second half. Huntingdon answered in the final five minutes of regulation to tie the game with a goal by Hunter Hall.
Averett ended the game 56 seconds into overtime.
