Hawks knock off Averett for first conference win

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon men's soccer team earned its first conference win of the season with a 3-1 victory over Averett University on Sunday.

The Hawks fell behind 1-0 in the first 12 minutes of the game before scoring three unanswered goals. Hunter Hall scored on an assist from Dylan Lombardo to tie the game late in the first half.

The Hawks took the lead in the first four minutes of the second half when A.J. Jonas scored on an assist from Kelan LeBlanc. Huntingdon closed the scoring in the 61st minute with T.J. Fleming scoring on an assist from Hall.
