Hawks Fall Short Against Ozarks

Montgomery, Ala.-Huntingdon Men's Soccer was defeated by the University of the Ozarks, 2-1.

Ozarks scored at 22:51 to take a 1-0 lead and added their second goal of the game at 51:53. A penalty shot goal by Varian Carty made it 2-1 with 3 minutes left but the Hawks were unable to complete a comeback. 

Goalkeeper Braden Ross suffered the loss, making 8 saves on 10 shots. Varian Carty had the Hawks only goal and collected 2 shots. Thad Lievens had 4 shots but the Hawks were outshot 26-11. 

The Hawks are back in action at home on Wednesday, September 14th, when they take on Mississippi University for Women at 7:00 PM CST.
