Lookout Mountain, Georgia – Huntingdon Men's Soccer fell short in their first-round match up, 2-1 against Covenant College.
Hawks fought a hard battle against the Scots throughout the whole 90 minutes. The Scots took the lead with a goal by Whit Tisdale in the 32nd minute, and that would be the only goal of the first period.
Covenant would score an early goal in the 45th minute of the second period to put them up 2-0. Huntingdon refused to give up and continued to fire, and finally landed a lone goal by #7 Austin Priemer.
Goalie, Zack Moenter would end the game with 8 saves.
The Hawks season has come to an end for the 2022-2023 school year after tremendous effort by both coaches and players.
