Men’s Soccer Downed By Birmingham-Southern

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Huntingdon Men's Soccer (1-1 overall) fell to the Panthers of Birmingham-Southern (2-0 overall) with a final score of 5-1.

The Hawks traveled to in-state rival, Birmingham-Southern for tonight's contest. The Panthers struck first with a goal at the ten-minute mark and sixteen minutes later flew their second goal past starting goalie, Braden Ross.

Varian Carty earned his second goal of the season, being the lone scorer for Huntingdon at the thirty-minute mark to regain ground.

Before the close of the first half, BSC knocked in one more goal to be up 3-1 at halftime. The Hawks shot four times in the second half but could not match the Panthers' two more goals before time expired.
