JACKSON, Miss. – Huntingdon Men's Soccer (2-3 overall) defeated the Majors of Millsaps (0-3-2 overall) in their non-conference matchup, 1-0.
Liam Kearns took the early lead for the Hawks after one shot and a save, he showed his aggressiveness and flew one past the Majors goalkeeper in the 17th minute.
In the first half, the Hawks got off six shots with one goal, and starting goalie, Braden Ross had two saves.
In the second half, Ross doubled his saves with four and captured the win for the Hawks. Offensively, Huntingdon got four more shots but could not push another goal before the 90-minute mark.
