Hawks Cruise Past the Owls of Warren Wilson

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon Men's Soccer (3-7 overall) defeated Warren Wilson (0-7 overall) in today's non-conference matchup 4-1.

Sebastian Guerrero wasted no time putting the Hawks on the board with an unassisted goal in the first 3 minutes of play.

In the 22nd minute, A.J. Jonas assisted Tate Reynolds for the 2-0 lead. Starting goalie, Braden Ross shutout the Owls in the first half with one save.

Offensively the Hawks shot 8 more times than the Owls in the first half and headed to halftime up 3-0 with a late goal by J.C. McKnight.

After halftime Varian Carty continued the momentum for the Hawks to score their fourth goal past the Owl goalkeeper in the 55th minute.

Warren Wilson finally gained an opportunity with a penalty kick that they snuck by Ross before the end of the game.
