JACKSON, Miss. – Huntingdon held Belhaven Scoreless on the road to secure a 0-0 draw in Jackson, Mississippi Wednesday afternoon.
The Hawks bounced back from a loss at Piedmont on Saturday to record a draw against a strong Belhaven squad on the road.
The Blazers outshot the Hawks 29-4 in the game, including a 17-1 second half, but Huntingdon's defense and goalkeeper Braden Ross held strong and kept the ball out of the net for all 90 minutes of play.
Despite Belhaven's shot advantage in the second half, none of its seventeen second-half shots were on target.
Huntingdon has a quick turnaround facing Berea on Saturday for senior day beginning at 12:00 PM CT.
