Huntingdon men’s tennis picks up first GSAC win of the season

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon men's tennis team picked up four singles wins in straight sets and beat Maryville 8-1 on Sunday at the Gibbs Tennis Complex.

Lee Howell (No. 4) and Larry Pritchett (No. 5) each won 6-0, 6-0, Sean Jackson (No. 3) won 6-0, 6-1 and Stacy Terry (No. 6) won 6-2, 6-1. Zac Baldwin won in three sets at No. 2 singles and teamed with Jackson to win at No. 1 doubles. Tyler Creamer and Howell won at No. 2 doubles and Pritchett and Tyler Chaffee won at No. 3 doubles.

Huntingdon (2-3, 1-1 Great South Athletic Conference) returns to conference play on Wednesday at LaGrange.
