Hawks defeat Webber International

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Huntingdon men's tennis team defeated Webber International University 7-2 on Monday.

The Hawks earn their sixth win of the season after beating the winless Warriors.

Huntingdon opened play with two doubles wins. The Hawks also won No. 3 doubles by default. John Jones and Bailey Burns won 8-2 at No. 1 while Justin McQueen and Ryan Runager took an 8-0 win at No. 2.

McQueen won 6-0, 6-4 at No. 2 singles and Adam Self (No. 3) won 6-1, 6-1. Jones (No. 1) dropped his first set before retiring due to illness.

The Hawks continue play on Tuesday as they face Florida Tech and Keiser in Orlando.

No. 2: McQueen-Runager (HC) def. Fortunato-Gonzolez (WIU) 8-0

No. 3: Self-Marler (HC) won by default
