Hawks edge Mississippi University for Women

COLUMBUS, Miss.  – The Huntingdon men's tennis team earned its second straight win with a 5-4 victory over the Mississippi University for Women on Friday.

The Hawks took a 2-1 lead after doubles before winning the top-three singles matches in straight sets.

Carson Sands (No. 1), Clint Robinson (No. 2) and John David Bailey (No. 3) earned singles victories for the Hawks.

In doubles, the teams of Sands-Robinson (No. 1) and Bailey-Cameron Reed (No. 2) each earned victories.

Coming Up: Huntingdon hosts Brevard in a conference match at 3 p.m. on Saturday and a non-conference match at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
