Five Hawks earn USA South All-Division honors

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.  – Five Huntingdon women's tennis players were recognized with the release of the USA South All-Conference Awards on Thursday.

Madeline Creel and Allison Stegall were named first-team West Division and Lucy Burch, Kennedy Harp and Meredith Head were each named second-team West Division. Burch was named to the All-Sportsmanship team for the women and Cameron Reed was named to the Sportsmanship team for the men.

Creel has an 8-6 record at No. 1 singles this season and is 6-5 at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. Stegall is 10-1 in singles this season, playing primarily at No. 3 singles, and a combined 5-4 at No. 1-3 doubles.

Burch is 8-6 in singles this season, playing primarily at No. 2 singles. She is 10-4 in doubles, playing at all three positions.

Harp is 4-7 in singles this season, playing primarily at No. 4 and No. 3 singles. Harp has Huntingdon's best doubles record at 12-2, including a 3-0 mark at No. 1 and a 5-0 mark at No. 3.

Head is 7-3 in singles this season, playing at the No. 2-5 positions, and is 3-1 at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.
