Hawks Come Up Short Against Piedmont And Pfeiffer

DEMOREST, Ga.- Hitting the road for the first time since their 5-2 loss to Oglethorpe, Huntingdon men's tennis came up short in their two matches today, falling to Pfeiffer 7-0 before dropping their first CCS match of the season to Piedmont, 7-0. See below for the doubles and singles results for both matches.

Match one v. Pfeiffer

Doubles

Singles

  • Lane Young was defeated by Mathius Dessureau 6-3 and 6-2
  • Tyler Garcia was defeated by Benedikt Pfeiffer in three sets, losing the first 7-6( tiebreaker score of 5), but one the second 6-4 before falling 10-5 in the third
  • William Massey was defeated by Aissultan Mukhambetov 6-4 and 7-6(tiebreaker score of 4)
  • Owen Wheelock was defeated by Andres Valdez Arze 6-3 and 6-2
  • Lawson Pearson was defeated by Bogdan Stan 6-0 in each set
  • Sage Speer was defeated by Laurin Rauer 7-5 and 6-1
