Hawks Complete Season Sweep Of LaGrange

MONTGOMERY, Ala.- Coming off of their loss at home to Covenant, Huntingdon Men's Tennis returned to the Gibbs Tennis Center against LaGrange College this afternoon as they looked to get back into the win column.

Ultimately, the Hawks completed the season sweep of the Panthers, sweeping the match 7-0 to move to 4-10 on the season with a 2-4 record in CCS play. See below for the comprehensive doubles and singles results from today's match.

Doubles

• Lane Young and Tyler Garcia defeated Mike Strydom and James Willingham 6-1
• William Massey and Zach Cox defeated Yoni Falla and Kyle Moore 6-0
• Sage Speer and Owen Wheelock were defeated by Connor Golden and Nic Bodin 7-6 with a tiebreaker score of 5

Singles

• Tyler Garcia defeated Mike Strydom 6-1 and 6-4
• Lane Young defeated James Willingham 6-0 and 6-2
• William Massey defeated Yoni Falla 6-0 and 6-1
• Zach Cox defeated Nic Bodin 6-1 and 6-0
