
Hawks Taken Down By Belhaven On Senior Day
MONTGOMERY, Ala.- Taking to the courts in their final home match of the 2024-2025 regular season, Huntingdon Men's Tennis welcomed Belhaven University for a pivotal CCS matchup. The Blazers ultimately bested the Hawks, 5-2, bringing Huntingdon's overall record to 4-11 with a 2-5 record in conference play.
Prior to the start of the matches, Huntingdon recognized the program's three seniors for their continued dedication to the program throughout their time as a Hawk, both on and off the court. This year's senior class was Prosser Crow, Lane Young, and Lawson Pearson.

- Lane Young and Tyler Garcia defeated Mark Matvieev and Harshith Anugonda 6-0
- Zach Cox and Clayton Philley were defeated by Maximo Estrada and Josiah Leggett 6-0
- Sage Speer and Owen Wheelock were defeated by Briley Oakes and Jesus Diaz 6-4
Singles
- Maximo Estrada defeated Lane Young 6-0 and 6-1
- Harshith Anugonda defeated Tyler Garcia 6-2 and 6-3
- Mark Matviiev defeated Zach Cox 6-2 and 6-1
- Jesus Diaz defeated Lawson Pearson 6-2 in each set
- Sage Speer defeated Hayden Lassiter 6-4 and 6-1
- Owen Wheelock defeated Briley Oakes 6-1 and 7-5
