Caden Howard and Rory Gilroy Named To CCS Track and Field Weekly Awards

MONTGOMERY,Ala.- In honor of their performances at the Mississippi College Opener, the Collegiate Conference of the South has announced Caden Howard as the Field Athlete of the week and Rory Gilroy as the Track Rookie of the week.

Howard took first place in high jump and eigth in long jump. The Florida native was also a member of the eighth place 4x100m team.

Gilroy earned fifth place in 110m hurdles and eigth in the 400m hurdles. The freshman also was a member of the 4x100m team that was eighth place and the 4x400m team that also finished in eighth place.

Howard and Gilroy look to lead the Hawks as they travel to Atlanta on March 9th to compete in the Clark Atlanta University Invitational.
