Hawks Cross Country Debuts At 18th Annual Foothills Invitational
JACKSONVILLE,Ala.- To kick off their 2024 campaign, Huntingdon cross country traveled to compete in the 18th Annual Foothills Invitational hosted by Division I Jacksonville State University.
The men's team finished 17th of 19 teams with an average 5k time of 19:49 and scored 513 points. The host team, the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, claimed victory with an average time of 15:26. Senior Blake Bailey led the way for the Hawks, finishing with a time of 17:59.43.
With only four athletes competing, the women's team could not earn a team score. Senior Kate Smith finished first for the Hawks with a time of 21:28.45.
