Dalan Bunn Named CCS Cross Country Rookie Of The Week

MONTGOMERY, Ala.- In recognition of his stellar performance at the 18th annual Foothills Invitational, Huntingdon freshman cross country runner Dalan Bunn has been named the CCS rookie of the week.

In his collegiate debut, Bunn made a notable entrance by finishing second for Huntingdon in the 5k race at the Mountainside Stride. Against tough competition, he posted a time of 19:00.37, placing 128th overall.

Earning this award, Dalan has become the first Huntingdon cross country athlete to be named rookie of the week since the CCS was established in 2022.

Bunn and the Hawks return to the course on Friday,September 6th, where they travel to the University of Montevallo Falcon Classic.
