Standout Season: Jordan Holman

MONTGOMERY.Ala.- This season, Huntingdon softball to this point reached new heights. Their current standing of #11 in the nation is the highest in program history, and with eleven wins by 10+ points on the season, their dominance has been evident.

A staple in the Hawks success this season has been Senior shortstop, Jordan Holman. This past week alone, Holman has been named the CCS player of the week for her performances in two wins against Covenant, but she also has been named to the NFCA player of the year watchlist.

Against Covenant, Holman tallied five hits in eight at bats, two of which were home runs. On the season, Jordan boasts an excellent .446 batting average with forty RBI's and six home runs. In the field, she has maintained a stellar .975 fielding percentage with only two errors on the year.

Head coach Casey Chrietzberg on Holman's performance this season:

"Jordan has been a very impactful player for us her entire time here at Huntingdon.   She is extremely motivated and hard working and I am so glad to see her getting noticed for her hard work!"

Jordan and the Hawks look to continue their historic success in a double-header tonight, April 9th, at home against LaGrange. Gametimes are scheduled for 4:00 and 6:00.
