Telma Roesler Named Assistant Softball Coach

MONTGOMERY,Ala.- Huntingdon Athletics has announced the hiring of Telma Roesler as assistant softball coach beginning in August of 2024.

Roesler joins the Huntingdon staff from Hastings, Minnesota where she most recently served as an assistant coach for the Minnesota Waves18u National team. While serving as an assistant for the Waves, Roesler was responsible for the organization and facilitation of all practices, recruiting within the team, and managing the team's budget. From August 2022 to August of 2023, Roesler was the Head Coach of the Waves 16u squad.

While coaching the Waves, Roesler helped lead the team two state runner-up finishes, saw five athletes be named to the all-state team in Minnesota while winning four different tournament championships in both the Heart of America Fastpitch League and the Perfect Game tournament series.

Asides from her coaching experience, Roesler has experience as an umpire, lifeguard, and in security.

Telma graduated from Crown College in 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Communications, being named a member of the Dean's list.
