Huntingdon beats Agnes Scott in home opener

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's basketball team won its home opener with a 73-20 victory over Agnes Scott on Friday night.

In a game in which 14 players saw the court for the Hawks and the bench players accounted for 51 points, Huntingdon took a 22-1 lead at the end of the first quarter and led 43-5 at halftime.

A.B. Davis and Shaniah Lowery each scored 11 points to lead the Hawks and Wyatt Bak, Janaiya Mintze, Madison Schluter and Ja'Mya Broglen each had eight points. Kelcie Smith had seven rebounds and four steals and Broglen, Ciara Latimer and Alina Shoemake each had five steals.
