Huntingdon loses at unbeaten LaGrange

DUE TO CURRENT COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, FANS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT HUNTINGDON BASKETBALL GAMES

LAGRANGE, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's basketball team started slow and couldn't find an answer for LaGrange in a 75-60 loss on Sunday.

The Panthers jumped out to a 14-1 lead in the first five minutes of the game. Huntingdon rallied and pulled within five points at the end of the first quarter and within four points in the second quarter.

But LaGrange maintained the momentum and pushed its lead back to 10 points, 34-24, at halftime. LaGrange extended its lead in the second half and closed out the game.

Ry Whetstone led Huntingdon with 14 points and seven rebounds and A.B. Davis added 10 points.
