Hawks come up short at Brevard

DUE TO CURRENT COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, FANS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT HUNTINGDON BASKETBALL GAMES

                                  

BREVARD, N.C. – The Huntingdon women's basketball team lost to Brevard 59-50 on Friday.

The Hawks played from behind from the start, but remained within six points for most of the first half. Brevard eases ahead to a double-digit lead late in the second quarter and maintained the momentum in the second half.

Alina Shoemake led Huntingdon with 13 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals. Ry Whetstone had nine points, eight rebounds and three steals and A.B. Davis had nine points. Destiny Cross and Wyatt Bak also had three steals.
