Bio

Papenburg joins the Huntingdon staff from Division II King University located in Bristol, Tennessee, where she served as an assistant coach for the Tornadoes beginning in August of 2022. She was named the Interim Head Coach of the program in March of 2024 before coming to Huntingdon in June.

Prior to coaching at King, Papenburg taught Biology and coached Volleyball and Basketball at Magee High School in Magee, Mississippi while receiving her Masters degree from Belhaven University.

Throughout her collegiate career, Papenburg was a two sport athlete, playing basketball and soccer at Southwest Mississippi Community College before transferring to Belhaven to complete her Bachelor's degree. At Southwest Mississippi CC, she was named the Female Athlete and Player of the Year in 2020 while also receiving NJCAA All-Tournament Honors in basketball. At Belhaven, she received all-defensive team honors in the American Southwest Conference while being named to the conference's second team all-conference.
