Huntingdon women improve by 20 strokes in Jekyll Island Invitational

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's golf team had a stronger showing in the second round of the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational on Saturday.

The Lady Hawks shaved 20 strokes off their first-round total, shooting 349 at Jekyll Island Country Club on Saturday. Huntingdon enters the final round with a two-round 718.

Saem Hur led Huntingdon with a 79 on Saturday and is at 162 after two rounds. Ali Hamil is at 176, Alex Foster is at 184 and Kaitlin Rozof is at 196.

Methodist's Jennifer Sullivan leads the tournament at 4-over-par 148. Methodist leads the team standings at 628. Coastal Georgia is second at 635. Huntingdon is 19th.

The tournament concludes with the final round on Sunday.
