Huntingdon women finish 10th in Jekyll Island Women’s Collegiate

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's golf team closed out the Jekyll Island Women's Collegiate with a 355 in the final round on Sunday.

The Hawks finished 10th with a three-round total of 1,020. Methodist University won the 16-team tournament with a three-round total of 925.

Debra Ann Burdeshaw led Huntingdon with an 87 in the final round. Burdeshaw tied for 23rd with a three-round 247. Anna Beth Harris tied for 34th with a 252. Behind Burdeshaw and Harris, Emma Cox and Jasmine Paynter each shot 263 in three rounds and Lindsey Oxley shot 269 in three rounds.

Methodist's Jillian Drinkard earned medalist honors with a 4-over-par 220.
