Hawks Finish Second at USA South Championship
SPARTANBURG- S.C. - Huntingdon Women's Golf has finished 2nd behind Methodist University in the USA South Conference Championship at Carolina Country Club.
The Hawks finished the USA South Tournament with 45 holes and a final score of 823, +103 over par. Senior Emma Cox placed 5th overall with her best career round of 77 in round two.
Individually, Methodist's Jillian Drinkard took medalist honors for the third consecutive year by shooting a five-over par 185. Her Monarch teammate, Emily Gresham placed second with a nine-over par 189 followed by Erin Donovan's 14-over par 194 in third place. Maggie Williams (Methodist) with a 21-over par 201 and Emma Cox (Huntingdon) with a 22-over par 202 rounded out the all-tournament team in fourth and fifth positions, respectively.
