Hawks Set Records in Millington

MILLINGTON, Tenn. – Huntingdon Women's Golf currently sits in third place at the Joe and Lee Duncan Invitational while setting a team and individual records.

The Hawks played two rounds today with team scores of 309 and 290.

They currently are behind Mississippi College and Rhodes College by less than 10 strokes.

Head Coach Ashley Crane says, " We have talked about how special this gorup is and they showed up and showed out today!

They perservered through 36 holes. After the first 18 we knew we could do better, so we locked in and chipped away at a 19 shot lead and now we are currently 7 shots off the lead going into round 3 tomorrow.

I am incredibly proud of our enitre team, a school record of 290 is a big deal! Mary Charles shot 65 in round 2 and crushed our individual player shcool record!

We are so proud of everyone!"
