Hawks Finish 5th At The South Georgia Invitational

STATESBORO, Ga.- With the second round bringing an end to the South Georgia Invitational, hosted by Berry College, Huntingdon women's golf has finished 5th overall in the field of 19 teams.

Compiling a team score of 318, the Hawks finished the second round 30 strokes over par and a comprehensive 43 strokes behind the tournament champions, Carnegie-Mellon. Transfer Yvette Gorden led the way for the Hawks, finishing in a tie for 10th place overall with a 8-over par 80 in round two, but Caroline Culbertson's 5-over 77 spearheaded Huntingdon's round two efforts.
