Huntingdon Women's Golf Claims First USA South Title In Program History

(SPARTANBURG, SC) - The 2025 USA South Women's Golf Tournament has finished its final round at The Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, South Carolina with Huntingdon capturing the title for the first time in the program's history.

The Hawks led from wire-to-wire, posting a 44-over par 908 to take the title over second-place Piedmont's 82-over par 946. Placing third with a 83-over par 947 was Methodist. 

Individually, Huntingdon's Yvette Gorden took home the crown by shooting a one-over par 217 for the tournament. Piedmont's Erin Donovan placed second with a four-over par 220. Huntingdon's Briana Willis and Methodist's Emily Greshman tied for third with dueling 12-over par 228. Huntingdon's Caroline Culbertson rounded out the top-five with a 14-over par 230.

With their tournament victory, the Hawks have secured an automatic bid to the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Golf National Championship. This year, the tournament will take place from May 13th-16th at Kingsmill Resort & Spa in Williamsburg, Virginia.
