Huntingdon women fall at Meredith

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Huntingdon women's lacrosse team lost 19-3 to Meredith on Sunday.

Meredith (12-1, 4-0 USA South Athletic Conference) scored 13 first-half goals and six goals in the second half.

The Lady Hawks (2-11, 1-4 USA South) scored with over nine minutes left in the game and added two goals in the final 3:24 to close out the game.

Sarah Brooks, Maddy Morrison and Victoria Krupa each scored for Huntingdon.

Krupa had three caused turnovers and two ground balls. Goalie Alyssa Alvarado had five ground balls and nine saves.

Huntingdon hosts NAIA Truett-McConnell on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
