Huntingdon loses to Pfeiffer

MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- The Huntingdon women's lacrosse team lost to Pfeiffer 11-6 on Friday.

Huntingdon only trailed 4-3 late in the first half before Pfeiffer pulled away. The Falcons took a 6-3 lead into halftime and built as much as a six-goal lead in the second half.

Shelby Martin scored two goals and had four draw controls for Huntingdon and Savannah Ryan, Keirstin Cramer, Vanessa Maldonado and Olivia Stinson each scored one goal. Cramer, Maldonado and Shelby Blair each had one assist.

Elizabeth Todd and Morgan Coppini split time at goalie. Todd had eight saves, six goals allowed, five caused turnovers and nine ground balls in 30 minutes. Coppini had eight saves and five goals allowed in 30 minutes.
